This year’s show boasts a wide range of nominees as well as performers, and the spotlight will be on Usher — fresh from his Super Bowl halftime show — as he receives the BET Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes pioneers in the industry who have shifted the culture of entertainment.
Voting for the 2024 BET Awards Viewers Choice Award began June 6, 2024 and ends June 30 at 6:30 p.m. Pacific time or 9:30 p.m. Eastern time.

The ceremony will air on the BET channel. Simulcasts will be held on BET Canada, BET Caribbean, Comedy Central, BET Her, BET Her Caribbean, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Pop, TV Land, Nickelodeon at Nite and VH1. The show will be available to stream on BET.com.
Who is performing at the 2024 BET Awards?
Performers include Will Smith, Ice Spice, GloRilla, Latto, Ms. Lauryn Hill & YG Marley, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, Tyla, Victoria Monét and Tanner Adell. Megan Thee Stallion was announced as the latest performer, who will open the show, on Wednesday.
The Friday before the ceremony revealed that Childish Gambino, Chlöe, Coco Jones, Keke Palmer, Marsha Ambrosius and Summer Walker will also perform.

Who are the nominees at the 2024 BET Awards?
Drake leads the pack with seven total nominations. Nicki Minaj is close behind with six. J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA and Victoria Monét are all tied for five nominations, and 21 Savage, Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla and Usher all have four nods heading into Sunday night.
