Is this a stunt? Looks like not. The press and attendees at the Bloom Nightclub in San Diego, aka HBO’s the Penguin Lounge installation for Comic-Con week, were asked to evacuate immediately Friday night.
Upon exiting the venue, attendees were greeted by multiple fire trucks and police, and two ladders were in use extended to the top of the building housing the bar.
The venue is at the corner of Fourth and E Street in San Diego’s Gaslamp District.
Police have put up police lines. No other information was readily available.
